When looking for a counder or matching with one, you want to make sure you’re aligned. Our co-founder matching tool is divided into the most important sections, some of which are overlooked or missed when discussing things verbally:

While it takes some time to think through your answers for each section, we feel this is the best way to improve the odds of being value aligned with potential co-founders.

Once you’ve completed your profile, you can invite any/all of your potential co-founders to fill out their profile as well, and once that is done, you can share your responses with each other. It is through this exercise that you will hopefully find any gaps or opportunities for conflict before they arise.

If you have a direct invitation to collaborate on a startup by an existing founder, accept the invitation, and begin collaborating. You are not required to setup a Founder Profile, although we recommend you do so.
